  Friday September 30, 9:30 AM Sunny, 46* F Birds all around in trees surrounding pond Tracks of some sort, maybe deer Ducks were swimming, but then got spooked when they heard me Clear patch of water, and algae seems like its hardening due to cold A new tree branch fell into pond since last time Frogs weren't coming up in the water, where as last time they would chronically Weeds surrounding pond got longer Mud was wet therefore made my shoes sink in Questions for Next Time: Is the water clearing up more or less? due to the cold, see if you can find any frogs Check for increase or decrease of tracks along pond side

Field Notes   September 8 Time: 5:12 pm Temperature: 78* and sunny low wind Length of day:  Many many frogs jumped in the water when I arrived  School of Ducks swimming in the pond  Saw a large fish possible carp? sounds of birds chirping for the entirety of my time there
